Two rare and exquisite papal treasures — an emerald-and-diamond cross and a ruby-and-diamond ring — have hit the market with a combined price tag of $1.9 million. The jewelry was famously gifted by Pope Paul VI to the United Nations in 1965. Subsequent owners included daredevil Evel Knievel. Full story at our blog.
